Booking

We use the HallMaster booking application to manage the Callow End Village Hall bookings. Below you can see the Scheduler with the current hall availability. Please use this application to make booking requests. When you make a booking request, the slot will be provisionally held for you until our booking officer has confirmed that the hall is available, and the appropriate fee has been received. Cancellations – If you wish to cancel the booking before the date of the event, we will provide a refund less an administration fee. If you give less than seven days’ notice, then the administration fee will be equivalent to the full hire charge. Otherwise, the administration fee will be the equivalent of one hour’s hire at current hire fee (currently £13). Different terms may apply to regular hirers.

The entry code to the hall will be supplied when the booking fee has been paid.

Rates of Hire: The standard hire fee is £14 per hour (£15 per hour from 1 January 2026). An additional £5 is charged if a bouncy castle is used in the hall to cover the cost of electricity.

It is a legal requirement that if alcohol is to be sold on the premises at a function then a Temporary Event Notice is required at an additional cost of £21.  This licence is obtained from Malvern Hills District Council (MHDC) and must be applied for by the person providing the alcohol. The Village Hall Committee will not be held responsible for refusal of this Temporary Event Notice by MHDC or the Police.  For more information contact the booking secretary.

It is recommended that evening users equip themselves with torches as this is a rural location and exterior security lighting is minimal.
